Donations and Eligibility

Eligibility is quite simple. You must be a BGP family member, a current High School Senior, complete the GWB application, and plan to enroll full time in a two or four-year Title IV-eligible College or Trade School in the fall of the application year.

Eligibility Update

The yearly donation deadline that previously affected eligibility has been removed. Now, every child or relative is continuously eligible for the scholarship from birth.
Donations from BGP Family members are the only source of support for the George W Banks Scholarship Foundation. Donations can be made throughout the year in any amount. Our plans are to raise a minimum of $10,000 for the 2026 scholarship year. To reach our goal of awarding a top graduate award of $2000, we need your commitment.
Scholarship Awards will be based on merit rather than the timing of contributions. Plans are to provide awards to the graduating class of 2026 in July 2026. We need your support and commitment to do this. Please click the DONATE button to donate.
